HURRICANE HARVEY RESCUE

WAIT 'TIL YOU SEE WHAT YOUR PURCHASES DID!

We are so grateful for all of you, our customers.

TOGETHER, WE SAVED SO MANY.

This year, your everyday purchases of FarmHouse Fresh products made it possible for us to launch a large-scale animal rescue effort from Texas to Minnesota in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

You made it possible for 50 abandoned dogs to be saved post-hurricane, receive medical care, and be transported 1,000 miles north - where they now thrive in loving, forever homes.

Your purchases have spread so much joy across the country this year!

We wish all of you and your families the very best holiday.
LOVE IS MORE POWERFUL THAN THE STRONGEST WINDS.

IT IS BREATHTAKING WHAT WE CAN DO WHEN WE COME TOGETHER.

Look at all the amazing volunteers, employees, companies, and efforts that brought this operation to life. This long chain of loving people gave the dogs of Hurricane Harvey a new chance at life:
- Delia McLinden of Texas (FarmHouse Fresh) & Shawna Dahl of Minnesota (Sothys USA) decided over a late night message to orchestrate the rescue and were instrumental in coordinating all the details.
- The Underdog Project Dallas worked with Urgent Animals of Fort Worth and rescues in south Texas to save and transport dogs to DFW holding areas.
- Donations from all over DFW poured in, including kennels, blankets, food, leashes, water bowls, and more.
- FHF employees, and volunteers responding to posts online, came to the holding areas to wash, walk, feed, clean, and care for the dogs over many days while the dogs awaited transport to Minnesota.
- Wendelin & Delia (of FHF, featured in the photo above) drove waves of dogs to a local veterinarian for their shots and wellness care.
- Upon arrival to Minnesota, dozens of volunteers came to the campground to feed, walk, and welcome the dogs before they made their final journeys. Some became fosters and made formal adoptions.
- Petco in St. Cloud, MN donated pallets of food, treats, leashes and collars for all the dogs.
- Fagen Inc. provided a large cargo SUV to continue the dog transport to other shelters across the state.
- Pope County Humane Society, Headwaters Animal Shelter, Paws+Claws Rescue & Resort, Ellie's Legacy Pet Rescue, Paws Plus LLC, K9 Rescue and Rehoming, and The Babinski Foundation came together to provide further care for the dogs, and help find them forever homes.
