A Week of Care for Picasso & Theodore

This week, our foster ponies Picasso and Theodore, received vital care as part of their journey toward finding forever homes.

Castration & Hoof Care

Picasso and his buddy Theodore, who we’ve been fostering on behalf of our friends at Singing Whale Rescue & Rehab LLC, had a big week. Both boys were castrated and got their hooves trimmed, ensuring they’re happy, healthy, and ready for the next steps in their journey.

Of course, the ever-loyal Jake (pictured below!) was right there offering his calm support and encouragement!

Healing & Transition

With their procedures complete, Picasso and Theodore are on the mend. Recovery is going smoothly, and the boys are already showing signs of their usual lively personalities.

Once they’re fully healed, they’ll head to Healing Hearts Animal Rescue & Refuge in AZ, where they’ll continue their journey toward finding loving, forever homes.

The Importance of Rescue Care

These procedures are a critical part of preparing animals for adoption, ensuring they’re healthy, well-adjusted, and ready to thrive in a new environment.

Thanks to partnerships with incredible organizations like Singing Whale Rescue and the support of our Farmie community, we’re able to provide this care and give these animals the fresh start they deserve.
