Jennifer LeBaron

Spa Director
The Spa at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort

Jennifer LeBaron, Spa Director at Dollwood's DreamMore Resort and Spa, has over 22 years of experience as a massage professional. She has a track record of exceeding financial goals as well as improving service levels, including implementing booking programs, and new treatment and training programs that increase retail sales and service revenue exponentially.

Her entrepreneurial spirit is continuously, searching for ways to exceed client expectations and provide a greater income for spa providers. Jen has a true passion for healing, making memories and empowering people.

Margaret Lora

Spa Director
Mohonk Mountain House

Margaret Lora, Spa Director at Mohonk Mountain House oversees operations at the 30,000- square-foot spa where she creates an overall spa experience that speaks to Mohonk‘s heritage of environmental stewardship. Margaret develops new treatments and offerings that address current and upcoming wellness trends, along with managing the Spa’s exciting lineup of retail offerings. With over 15 years of experience managing spas across the country, Margaret uses her creativity to create one-of-a-kind experiences for guests. Prior to joining Mohonk, Margaret was National Director of Operations and Sales at the acclaimed spa brand Exhale, where she helped the brand earn over 75 awards during her nine-year tenure.

Catherine Sinclair

Vice President of Spa Mirbeau Hospitality Services

Catherine Dower Sinclair is the Vice President of Mirbeau Hospitality Services, where she is responsible for overseeing the spa, retail, and wellness operations of the Mirbeau Companies properties. Sinclair joined Mirbeau Inn & Spa at their Skaneateles location in 2010 as Sales Manager and was promoted to Resort Manager and Spa Director in 2013. In 2018 she joined the Mirbeau Hospitality Services corporate office located in Saratoga Springs, NY. Sinclair brings over 20 years of hospitality experience across all departments of 4- and 5-star luxury resorts. Prior to joining the Mirbeau Inn & Spa team, Sinclair served as Sales Manager at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa located in Avon, Colorado.

Rianna Riego

Her expertise spans brand identity, process optimization, fiscal control, revenue growth, sustainability, stakeholder relationships and public relations. Leverage entrepreneurial mindset, cross-functional collaboration, interpersonal skills,and resilience, to coordinate full lifecycle of complex and large-scale development, repositioning, and launch projects. She harnesses training and mentoring, with commitment to fostering positive working environments to retain talent, and build high performance teams that deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive profitable organizational growth.

Wendie Keen

Vice President of Spa
Boyne Resorts, Inc.

Wendie Keen is VP of Spa at Boyne Resorts, overseeing their 5 properties, and growing the spa business by more than 10 times its previous size as guests and Owners have become increasingly aware of the importance of wellness, and what an amazing gift our bodies are – and how enjoyable it can be to care for ourselves. Wendie has been working in Club, Resort and Spa Hospitality since the early 90's.  As a General Manager of the Sonoma Golf Club at the Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa 20 years ago, later Director of Membership at the Claremont in Berkeley, CA, and again at Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage. She has had the extraordinary experience of working with some of the finest Spa Directors, in some of the most beautiful locations and spas in California. 

Shelby Bobosky

Executive Director
Texas Humane Legislation

Shelby Bobosky, Executive Director of the Texas Humane Legislation & the Texas Humane Network, began her volunteer service with THLN in 2011 as a board member. Since 2011 and under her leadership as President, Vice President and Legislative Chair, THLN has had four successful legislative sessions wherein THLN successfully passed the Anti-Gassing Law (passed in 2013), the Mandatory Canine Encounter Training Law (passed in 2015), the Animal Cruelty Enhancement Law (passed in 2017) and the Safe Outdoor Dogs Act (passed in 2021). In 1999, Ms. Bobosky moved from Chicago to Dallas to begin her law practice. Ms. Bobosky has continued practicing general civil litigation until 2017 when she decided to do only pro bono work putting in hundreds of hours for THLN as well as assisting animal welfare advocates and rescues throughout Texas. She teaches Animal Law and Wildlife Law at the Southern Methodist University College of Law and travels the state teaching animal cruelty laws and Texas animal laws and testifies at the Capitol and local governments throughout Texas.

Dr. Ted Vlahos

D.V.M, M.S., A.B.V.P.

Yellowstone Equine Hospital

Dr. Ted Vlahos is one of the country's foremost sought after surgeons for equines. He received his Bachelor of Science (1983), Master of Science (1985), and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (1988), from the Ohio State University. Dr. Vlahos has performed surgery across the globe and is widely recognized as a leader in the development of amputation procedures and prosthetic limbs for the most severely injured horses. He is board-certified as an equine specialist by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, and served two terms as the Equine Diplomate on the ABVP Council of Regents. In addition, Dr. Vlahos has served on the American Association of Equine Practitioners Professional Conduct and Ethics Committee and was a founding member and Chair of the ABVP Ethics Committee.

Sharon Hotchkiss

Sharon has been an attorney for 30 years, and is licensed in Texas and California. Her firm focuses primarily on assisting non-profit
organizations with business contracts, intellectual property and general counsel services, with clients that include prestigious Dallas area museums and other cultural institutions, cheer organizations, as well as animal welfare and rescue groups.

Sharon is a volunteer Board Member of the Texas Humane Legislative Network, where she acts as Of Counsel and is also able to lobby legislators to pass animal friendly laws statewide. Sharon also recently became a volunteer Board Member of the Texas Humane Network whose mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals through education, training and outreach.

Shannon Swarbrick

Trustee

Shannon has significant experience in the Non-profit sector, including fundraising, marketing and volunteer management. She spent the bulk of her career with the American Cancer Society heading up efforts responsible for raising millions of dollars through
sponsorship and events focused on finding a cure cancer. In her most recent role, Shannon was a founding board member of Hope Park Frisco, a 15,000 square foot park. Although, Hope Park was built to suit the needs of all children, it gives specific consideration to children with special needs.  Shannon shares her passion for giving with
her daughter, Marin. The two currently work together as members of the National Charity League volunteering across the metroplex.
