Our Roots: From Seed to Spa
How have we not met yet?
We've had you in mind since we began - growing fresh tiny microgreens daily on our farm to pack a punch of nutrition in our skincare, so your complexion looks and feels like new.
We're wellness fanatics. Estheticians, massage therapists, product crafters and farmers. We love smoothies, spa days and the joy that animals bring to our lives. So we built our skincare headquarters to fund and operate our nonprofit farm animal sanctuary. Here at FarmHouse Fresh, our employees care for once-neglected animals and every product you buy helps us help them. See how it began below.

“Here’s a trio of foot scrubs that smell so good, I want to serve them over berries!”
Our first product was a sea salt exfoliation trio created in 2005, when founder Shannon McLinden discovered a way to keep cracked heels at bay by combining fine grain sea salt with rice bran oil. Oprah selected this kit for her O-list proclaiming, “Here’s a trio of foot scrubs that smell so good, I want to serve them over berries!”

“Skincare Company also Runs Rescue Full of Inspiring Animals”
People Magazine featured our FarmHouse Fresh Ranch Headquarters, which is also home to our registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm animal sanctuary, spotlighting our unique "skincare that saves" mission. Profits from FarmHouse Fresh product purchases help fund, rescue, and rehabilitate abused animals that our employees help care for at the FarmHouse Fresh Sanctuary.
