If you made a purchase this April on our “Hey Girl, HAY!” day, we thank you so much! Your love of FarmHouse Fresh® products donated thousands of dollars toward hay and veterinary care for 2 incredible rescue groups, Focus Rescue and Rehabilitation, in Mogadore, Ohio and Zuma's Ranch Rescue in Douglas County, Colorado.
Their teams have very difficult cases at hand. Focus is one of 19 rescues who took on a large seizure/surrender in Western, PA. 47 horses, donkeys, a pig and alpaca were taken in by 501c3 rescues across multiple states. All were evaluated by a veterinarian and documented by Police and Humane Police Officers. All of the animals need extensive rehabilitation, veterinary and hoof care, and proper nutrition before they can be adopted out to new forever homes.
Zuma's took in 3 young mustangs from Montana who are all under 1 year old and fighting for their lives. They arrived with pneumonia, anemia, and parasites and have a long road to recovery ahead of them. Zuma's team has saved thousands of animals over the years, so these babies are in good hands!
Focus and Zuma's are groups that we are so grateful to be able to assist because the medical expenses absorb so much from rescue groups when animals first arrive.
