The award acknowledges our dedication to improving animal welfare through meaningful action and advocacy.
THLN, a nonprofit organization at the forefront of advancing laws to protect animals in Texas, plays a crucial role in driving impactful change. Being honored by such an influential group left us inspired to continue our mission of enhancing the wellbeing of animals nationwide.
The award ceremony took place during THLN’s Annual Paws and Policy Brunch, a gathering that celebrated individuals and organizations united by a passion for animal welfare. Among the other notable award recipients were Assistant District Attorney Jessica Trevizo, Chief of Community Prosecution and Animal Cruelty for the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, and the Donna North High School Animal Science Department.
The event brought together a vibrant community of animal advocates, including rescue groups, shelter workers, animal control officers, judges, policymakers, and supportive family members, creating an atmosphere of shared purpose and inspiration.
