We recently received a heartfelt call from one of our loyal FHF customers. She told us about her elderly friend whose health had taken a turn, requiring a move to assisted living. But one thing weighed heavy on his heart—leaving behind the animals he’s loved and cared for, especially his fully blind horse, Danny.
Love That Doesn't Let Go
As his condition worsened, it became more difficult for him to give Danny the care he always had. That’s when we were invited to meet this incredible pair. The love between them was undeniable—and we knew, instantly, that Danny belonged at our FHF Sanctuary.
Finding His Way
Danny is now settling into his temporary quarantine space, and we’re happy to report he’s adjusting like a champ! He’s been confidently exploring and learning the boundaries of his new yard, one careful step at a time.
A New Chapter With Old Friends
We’re currently expanding the pasture where our other blind horse, Wonder, lives with Spirit—and soon, Danny will join this peaceful trio. It’s the start of a beautiful friendship we can’t wait to witness!
We’re honored to give Danny a safe, loving home—and to carry forward the deep devotion his owner poured into every day they spent together.
