Welcome to the Farm: Patrick, Riggs, Finn, Elvis & Buckeye!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news! This weekend, we welcomed five adorable new additions: Patrick, Riggs, Finn, Elvis, and Buckeye—a group of sweet Boer goats with big personalities and even bigger hearts.

Their Story

Born in April 2024, these boys were part of a school program where students learned about animal care and agriculture. At the end of the program, the goats faced an uncertain future: they would either be sold for slaughter or purchased by a private buyer.

Thankfully, the students couldn’t bear to see these sweet goats meet such a fate. They found a kind-hearted buyer willing to purchase the goats to save them from slaughter and then reached out to us to provide them with a forever home. We couldn’t say no!

Life at the Sanctuary

From the moment they arrived, Patrick, Riggs, Finn, Elvis, and Buckeye have been full of energy and joy. They spend their days running, playing, and exploring together, only to collapse into an adorable sleepy pile when they’ve worn themselves out.

For now, the boys are in a 30-day quarantine period to ensure they’re healthy and ready to join the rest of our goat herd. After that, we’ll begin the process of introducing them to their new goat friends, and we can’t wait to see them thrive as part of the Farm family.
