When we welcomed our newest blind horse, Danny, to the Sanctuary, we knew he deserved a space that felt safe, soothing, and full of comfort. So our team rolled up their sleeves and got to work planning some much-needed upgrades for his new home!
Shade, Snacks & Safety
First on the list—a beautiful new gazebo! It provides plenty of shade and cozy comfort, complete with hay bags for Danny and his friends to snack on throughout the day. Every corner post is wrapped in soft foam bumpers, ensuring our blind herd can explore freely without worry of injury.
A Barn Built for Love
Next came a brand-new, three-stall barn—custom-built to give every resident in the Blind Barn area a peaceful place to rest. It’s roomy, safe, and designed with their unique needs in mind.
Learning Their New Space
Once the finishing touches are complete, Danny and Wonder will begin regular perimeter walks with our team to learn their new surroundings. These two are quick learners—and we can already tell they’re going to love their upgraded home!
