A wonderful animal rescue, All Seated in a Barn in Bakersfield, California is the non-profit that is rehabilitating this sweet girl with the FarmHouse Fresh funds raised.
It's incredible that someone let this poor horse suffer so long, without food. Horses in this condition take a very careful feeding program to bring them back to health. They've been malnourished for so long that every day is critical. In addition to being severely underweight, her eye is infected, and her hooves are extremely overgrown.
