Backstory
Mae caught our attention when we saw her at an auction in Oklahoma and knew she needed to come to our sanctuary. We picked her up and immediately took her to the OSU Veterinary Hospital for a full evaluation. She was malnourished, had pneumonia that developed into pleural effusion, and had many other health challenges.

As she heals, Mae's sweet personality is shining through. She's more active and chatty in the evenings, earning her the title of night owl.

She loves being brushed and having people around her and seems to enjoy watching Daisy, Rosie, and Lucy graze across from her. We are excited to get to know her better and watch her health improve.

Your purchase help us rescue and care for forgotten, neglected and abused farm animals that come to live at our FHF Sanctuary. Follow their transformations here.
